The Melrose Park Commission has approved an off-leash dog park at the East Knoll!!

The location could change at the last minute. We’ll typically send an email to our mailing list at least the day before, so please call us if you decide to come and you’re not a regular attendee.

The Melrose Dog Society (MDS) is comprised of a group of citizens with the goals of seeing a dog park realized, promoting responsible dog ownership, and improving conditions within our city for citizens and the estimated 5,000 dogs that reside here.

We’re happy to inform you that a lot of hard work by a team of Melrose Dog Society volunteers and the City of Melrose has resulted in the Melrose Park Commission approving a dog park located at Ell Pond on the East Knoll.
